You can regain the Genuine Qi and Morale you lost by defeating the opponent that slayed you. When you are killed, your Morale Rank will drop and you will lose half of your Genuine Qi.

All enemies and bosses have a Morale Rank above their heads, dictating how powerful they are. You gain Morale by striking and defeating enemies. The higher your rank, the stronger you are. Morale Rank is a level system that affects your combat power.Enemies can stun you if they break through your entire Spirit Gauge.
